I am using 1.7.9 and when I am playing the camera has a lot of latency it seems as it jumps around instead moving smoothly using my Steel Series WoW Cataclysm MMO Gaming mouse but when I use the touchpad on my laptop I have no issues. My mouse works fine when I did play WoW and also works fine in Diablo 3. Anyone know why it might not be working Minecraft? Are some gaming mice not supported and this is one of them? I appreciate any help you all can give me.
So your minecraft isn't lagging? it works with other games... hmm

Texture pack lag - a very high texture pack shows high jittering
Cinematic Mode - Strange idea but it makes the camera fade slowly to a stop after moved. goto controls and see what the control is and when back in game press that game should enable or disable it.
I really don't know any other ways, it could be a very technical issue, if so you may need someone else
So there could be a sensitivity issue with my mouse that is different from the touchpad on the laptop? Just want to check to make sure that is what you meant by the sensitivity as don't think it needs to be changed in the game as the touchpad works fine with the sensitivity setting that's set. I'll try to see if there is a setting on the mouse that needs to be adjusted.
