Hey all, having some issues. My hard drive sort of vented it's contents, and for the time being I can't get a new copy of Windows, so I've moved to Ubuntu as an operating system. Loaded up minecraft, went through the tutorial on these forums for starting with linux based systems, but I'm having an issue. The game locks up once I run it, sometimes immediately after the launcher exits, and the game begins, sometimes I can get into a game and play for a few minutes before it locks my system up. I've gone through RAM allocation, file placement, reinstalled java, and I've run out of ideas. I'm not sure what's going wrong or how to fix it, anybody have any idea(s)?
