When i start up Minecraft, i get this

Please fix the error and restart.

I reinstalled java, deleted the Minecraft folder, I'm on windows 7 64-bit.

My Antivirus is: Kaspersky PURE 3.0

I also cannot download from the site, the minecraft.exe i got is from a friend.

Any fix for this would be appreciated.

Uninstall Minecraft, delete everything, and re-download it. I don't understand what you mean by you got the .exe from a friend. I would buy a copy, and then download it legit and see if you still get the problem.

First of all, it IS a legitimate copy, if wasn't i wouldn't refer to this forum at all.

Sometimes i think people are blind, i said i CANNOT download it from the site, as it give me "Connection Interrupted while connecting to s3.amazonaws.com", the .exe i got was from a friend via skype....

Any more intelligent replies please? I'm raging here.


Edit- Turns out it was my ISP that was blocking minecraft for some reason. Now that im using a VPN its working.

Make sure your firewall isn't blocking anything, try another browser when downloading from the site. Also, please don't insult me. I am trying to help you out, there are a lot of things that could be going wrong and I'm trying to narrow them down.
