Graphics drivers are latest, windows is latest, java is latest (as of currently) version 7 update 55.
VANILLA minecraft works absolutely fine up till version 1.7.2, but any version above that just starts up and gives this screen:
The animation plays out, if you hover your mouse over the screen the button-sound is made, and the music can be heard. It's pretty much unplayable. No settings were changed. No log file was generated (I'm assuming this is because it's technically not crashing).
Anyone have any idea what is wrong here? Tried redownloading everything fresh but it's giving the same issue.
Thanks for the insight on the issue. Clearly there's no fix from intel's side here, I don't see that happening.
Um, but I'm a bit reluctant to use a customized dll file. Is there any credibility to that file? Of course, it's the internet and I can't exercise 100% caution but I'd still like to know that people are actually using that and it's working fine for them before actually modifying a system dll.
