So i've been bored lately and decided to try playing minecraft again. I go ahead and launch the launcher, download all necessary files, and then i'm ready to play. I click the play button, the launcher loads some stuff, and then the launcher disappears and I think the game is going to boot up. But no, it doesn't the game window pops up for a split second then it disappears and the launcher window is back. I don't know what the problem is. Can anyone help me?
I've experienced the same problem before, but I know how to fix it.(It might work, it's not guaranteed to work) Step 1: Make a copy of your saves file and put it on your desktop.(Only do this if you have important worlds) Step 2: Delete your .minecraft folder(To get there search Run and a box will appear, in the box type in %appdata% and you will come to the roaming folder now find .minecraft, right click it, and press delete) I hope this helps!
