I have two children who would like to play the windows version of MineCraft They both use the xbox which is infinitely easier to get up and running for kids their age.
I have tried to download this game several times over the past few years but each time I just give up.
I created an account and logged into the Minecraft site. Then I clicked on the link to purchase the game and it sends me back to the Mojang Log in. I logged in and was able to add credit card info. Then I used the pull down for 'games' and I clicked Minecraft and it's off to the races back to the GD log in page.
I was able to download the demo which runs, but then it asked if I wanted to purchase the game. I clicked on that link and was sent back to the same log on screen for Mojang and the same loop.
This is NOT A new problem with Mojang as the same GD thing happened a year ago and I just gave up.
Alright, make sure you're on this website https://minecraft.net/ Now, try to login where is says "Log in" in the upper right hand corner. Next, when you click "Log in" It will take you to another page. There you enter you account info. If your info was correct, it will send you back to the website home page. If you're logged on, you will notice on the top right hand corner it will say your minecraft username in stead or saying "Log in". If it does let me know.
No, I am logged in at the main minEcraft page. I have the Get MinEcraft page showing me logged in above on the top line "Logged in as..." but when I click "Get MinEcraft" it goes back to the "create a new Mojang account" and "Already have a Mojang account". I click there and the "sign in to your Mojang account" page shows with the top line still saying "logged in as...". When I log in I get the Mojang Settings page showing my settings and my credit card info and a "Connect to Twitch account" icon. On the top right in that sub window (Its an all white window on top of the grey and brown MinEcraft page, there is a list of items, My log in name with a drop down, Games with a drop down and Help. If I use the Games Drop down and pick MinEcraft it goes back to the "Create a new Majong Account" vs "Already have a Mojang account" still showing me as logged in on the top.
So tell me what I am doing wrong?
I have windows 7, ultimate with Compatibility mode set for the minEcraft page.

What is the story?
I corrected my spelling mistake....thanks....I'll be sure to make a point of not misspelling a word on such a site.
