It started off when I downloaded a x-ray mod for minecraft 1.7.2
then the xray mod started to glitch a bit (when I switch back to normal I couldn't see any blocks)
I decided to leave Minecraft to itself hoping it would fix itself.
But when I came back which was around 3 hours when I left I notice when I clicked play on the minecraft launcher the launcher would froze up, and I couldn't minimize the launcher with the button the only thing I could do was to close the launcher, the launcher was responsive.
So I decided to delete my .minecraft data
then the problem I have now happened, All it said was Welcome, Guest! Please log in!ready to download and play Minecraft 1.7.9
and I couldn't do anything not even log in, and also the profile said (default)
and so when deleted .minecraft again it was still the same.
So please can someone help me?

just get rid of the mod nobody llikes cheaters. if you really need it to work though make sure its updated to whichever version youve installed. keep trying until you get to a stable version. that pretty much all you can do. also what you can do is instead of using an xray mod is throw in one of the xray glass texture packs and all should work no matter what
