Before anyone suggests anything, I have done everything an average home builder would know to do. I've deleted and reinstalled Minecraft many times, I have switched mice, ended all unnecessary processes, restored my computer to before the problem was happening, reinstalled java, reinstalled my mouse drivers, messed with antivirus and other background programs, etc. Also, my computer is MORE than enough to handle Minecraft at above 60 FPS(sometimes up to 300 with no pack and slightly lower settings) with an x256 texture pack and max settings: 8gb 1600 RAM, i5 3570 3.4ghz CPU, GTX660Ti GPU, etc. Not an AMAZING build but that isn't the problem.
Essentially, one day the Minecraft launcher just decided not to work anymore. It'll start, load, but once it's up, nothing in the window can be clicked. If the mouse hovers over it, buttons will highlight as if they could be clicked, but nothing happens if I actually click. I have played a host of other games, including java games, with absolutely no issues. Does anyone have an explanation for this? Or, preferably, a loophole to get around it?
.... Did you read my post? I know how to use the launcher, install mods, etc. etc. and it has worked in the past. Creating a new profile would be useless because I cannot click anywhere in the launcher. I can't even close or minimize it.. I have to do that either through the task manager or right clicking it on the taskbar. A screenshot will do no good, because it's an action issue: it will appear as if I could click things, as in the "Play" button would light up, but when clicked nothing happens.
