Lately I've been having some lag and glitches happening when playing Minecraft, but now I can't plat at all! When I'm in the launcher about to load minecraft, the 'Play" button is grayed out and I can't play. The "log out" button is also grayed out, so I cannot log out of my minecraft account and back in. The glitches were when I would look over the ocean and when the area of unloaded chunks end, there were strips of blue in the ocean (I play on short render distance)and resently I had a crash saying minecraft "ran out of memory". If anyone knows anything about this please reply. I play with optifine on in version 1.7.4
Need more memory to play; that is what that text means. It takes up space every time you play so that it can save it, you'll either have to get more memory, or delete some stuff.
Just try and delete some junk files on your computer. If you have any other mods running that might be taking up this space, just delete them if you want.
