Apparently, I deleted my minecraft folder on a mac, deleted the trash, and I can't get it back. I really want to get a texture pack, but I need the folder. How do I get it again?
Use the launcher and launch the game again while connected to the internet. The launcher will automatically re-download the files and put it on your computer. To find the folder, type in %appdata% in search or just open your resource pack folder in minecraft settings.
Nothing happened. I looked up %appdata% in the Finder, but nothing appeared. I also tried opening the resource pack. Absolutely nothing was in it. I looked up %appdata% in there, too.
