Ok, i want to play my own modded survival. i have a better than average computer. I downloaded about 60ish mods, and it ran fine. then i added a few more mods, and it was unplayable. i removed two mods that i recently downloaded. it stopped the immediate freezing, but it lagged A TON, and still freezed every so often. here is a list of mods that i currently have installed. (Btw i got rid of some mods, but might have forgot to get rid of the core mod. i forgot which mods go to which core mods.)

Dont really know, i need help.
Firstly, what's your system specs? Is it a decent machine? Secondly, how much memory have you got allocated to the game? I have seen game's crashing due to low memory at mod counts lower than that, but typically on really bad machines.

I've allocated like 7gigs, which is a lot. i am not really computerist so i forgot what specs are. but are these the specs? i running a mac. the processor is a 3.2 Ghz Intel core i5
Memory 8 GB 1600 Mhz DDR3
Startup disk: Macintosh HD
Just found this on the "About Mac" section.
Minecraft runs great without any mods, or that might be because i ran mine craft at like, 15 fps before i got this mac (it was a really old pc) and on this mac its about 80-100 fps without mods.

Which mods in particular did you install? Was this world only recently generated or have you built any machinery in it? As far as I can see, you shouldn't be experiencing that much lag, especially if you play with 80+ FPS in vanilla.

You have allocated too much ram. I run 155 mods with 6 gb not to mention if your PC has only 8gb and 7 is trying to be used by MC that could be causing some issues. Windows itself requires ram not to mention other background processes, sometimes more isn't always better.
As for allocation there are more specifics required when playing modded Minecraft. If I were you look into permgen allocation as you can sometimes run short on ram used by the mods to run background information.
I would guess it'll be the mods that add new buildings, ores, or anything that spawns in the over world. From my experience of a mod pack developer that's usually the type of mods that cause lag.
