I'm fully aware that using GLSL Shaders with Minecraft creates an awful lot of lag. However, usually in Minecraft I'll get 100+ FPS (with Optifine, without I get 60-80). However, whenever I enable my shaders my FPS drops all the way down to 15 frames and won't change regardless of the settings I change my Minecraft to, from fast and fancy to Tiny and Extreme. Just 15 frames, that's it.
I'm running on a Quad Core Intel i5-3230M (2.6GHz), 4GB RAM and an AMD Radeon 7650M with Windows 8, any ideas why the FPS will have dropped so drastically? Friends have told me that I shouldn't have any problem at all running the shaders if I'm getting upwards of 100FPS normally.
P.S. Using SEUS 10.1 Standard on 1.7.4 with Optifine.
try adding more memory to minecraft. sharers are VERY resource intensive in the way they work. if I know correctly they are creating lag because of the shadows and reflections by seus. (I use seus and have a fairly beefy pc, 150 or more fps normal, 20 with seus for me) It should be expected. try some other sharers, some may be less intensive.
