I have Buildcraft 5.0.4.67 and all things are playing well. in the middle of a day cycle I drop down to 1 FPS for no reason. if I hit escape the FPS goes back up to 50+. I can start a new world or play another world and not have any issues at all. it is only in my main world that I have been working on for a long time. and Buildcraft has been in and running for over 2 weeks without any issues.
so any ideas?
yes I have reinstalled everything from minecraft to forge to buildcraft. and it is only this one world.
Sounds like it could have something to do with chunks being corrupted somehow, look in MCEdit and see if there are any broken chunks or a lot of glitchy entities.
I only get down to 1 FPS when I go back to my large base that I started a long time ago. when I am out in other parts of the world, moving my self with MCEdit, there is not any issues.
so how do I see if there are corrupt chunks back at the base camp?

Curse Premiumafter loading buildcraft I did MCedit to get the oil spawns. but I have not had any problems after that so I did not think that would be and issue.
