Ok so I was playing some attack of the b team and my game crashed. This happens fairly often since my computer isn't that good. I loaded it back up only to see that my world has disappeared! The file of it is still in the attack of the b team saves folder, yet it isn't showing up! I even have a backup that is pretty old that I tried using but to no avail! If it helps, the game crashed about 3 minutes after I made an AK-47 with the flans mod. I shot about 4 clips and then it crashed. How do I get my world back?
It is possible that your world is corrupt, but it can be repaired with MCEdit.
To download MCEdit, go to http://www.mcedit.net/ and choose the version appropriate for your OS.
Open the offending world in MCEdit, press 'ctrl-i' and select 'Repair regions' in the dialogue which pops up. Once this has completed, save your world and exit MCEdit.
Hey so I fixed my world. I'm only replying to help anyone else who has this problem. It turned out that my level.dat folder was corrupted and I had the replace it with a different world's level.dat.
I am having the same problem i tried mcedit first and gave me a error saying (unhandled exeption: U'Biomsop' not on the list) and then changing the .dat file but it worked but reset my world.... Any way to fix it (i made a backup of the original file but same world when i loaded it up blank. lost 4 mob farms large auto smelting and sorting system that took me days to make......
Edit: Now when i try to open b-team it does nothing at all.....
(Sorry, bump) I have had the same problem before, and have a fix that sometimes works. This is for windows, because I have no idea where Technic stores your files if it isn't Windows.
Try going to C:/Users/Your_User/AppData/Roaming/.technic/modpacks/attack-of-the-bteam/saves/Your_World_Name
(C: may be different, and AppData will NOT show up on the folder listing. Type that in in the bar to the left of the search bar)
Sometimes Attack Of The B-Team deletes or renames your level.dat file. If it is deleted, and nothing else with the name level is in that folder, it is gone sadly. BUT sometimes there is something called level.dat_mcr, which you can change to level.dat, and that sometimes works.
This does not always work, but it might if you really want that world back.
Good luck

That suggests the worlds region is corrupt, in which case its pretty much game over.
