I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong place but I could not find where to post mod pack support and issues regarding Tekkit classic. Every time I use Tekkit Classic on my late 2009 MacBook, the FPS are mostly 0-3 FPS, either if I'm in Singleplayer or Multiplayer. I can't figure out why my Mac is doing this. All other modpacks run smoothly. I have noticed this since I upgraded my Mac from OS X 10.6 to 10.7, 10.8 and 10.9. I have allocated 1 GB of RAM to Tekkit Classic and I have tried reducing it.
System Specs
- late 2009 13 inch MacBook
- 2 GB of 1067 MHz DDR3 RAM
- 2.26 Intel Core 2 Duo
- OS X 10.9.2
- Java 7 update 45
- NVIDIA GeForce 9200M Graphics card with 256 MB RAM
- NVIDIA nForce logic/motherboard
Any information on how this is caused and how to fix this problem would be good.
