I transfered my .minecraft folder from my desktop to my laptop because I'm too lazy to install the mods again, but I get some graphics glitches. Mobs, chests and signs (and maybe more things that i haven't noticed) are invisible, and my skin is completely black. Everything worked perfect on my other computer.
Is there some hardware-dependent files that i need to replace? I tried transfering only the versions folder, mods folder and launcher profiles onto a fresh install, and it still didn't work.

Try running through the usual gauntlet:
- update your laptop GPU drivers
- reset graphical options in Minecraft
- disable temporarily shaders (these can be heavily dependen on your computer specs, especially the GPU)
New graphics drivers fixed it, didn't think about that. Thanks.
