Quarry runs INCREDIBLY slowly (0.25-0.5 blocks per second fully powered)
Minecraft will tick at FOUR MINUTES e.g. I can mine half a hillside then am reverted back four minutes of gameplay with all the blocks I just mined replaced (like that thing where you mine the same block over and over and it keeps coming back but on a four minute timescale). This will happen at random.
Mobs (zombies, spiders) will aggro me, walk a half block, then disaggro and return because minecraft is ticking too slow for them to go through full attack cycles. This problem persists until at least the world is reloaded.
Clarification:
This is not an FPS issue. My FPS remains constant and high, chunks load properly, etc.
This is not a RAM issue with 6 out of my 8 gigs allocated and the usage never bumping above 40%.
This is not a CPU issue, usage never goes about 40%.
This does not appear to be local to tekkit, as my friend is running the exact same modpack with no difficulties
Things I have tried:
Re-installing Java
Deleting and re-installing tekkit
Using MCedit to 'prune' the chunks where my base is and migrating that base to a new world
Removing all loops, auto-farms, redstone engines, active quarries, etc. that may be causing lag through animations.
Downloading video options to smooth chunkloading
I've been browsing and troubleshooting for days with little success. I'm kind of lost considering it's not the normal sort of visual fps lag or strain on the cpu that seems to be causing this, but some sort of internal minecraft lag I can't seem to measure or diagnose. I'm baffled
Thank you
(I have a decent system that's only about a year old with 8 gigs ram and a solid cpu)
