I've played Minecraft on my Xbox for quite a while, with occasionally playing on the PC version. Recently I have gotten more into the PC version, and downloaded mods. I had about twenty-ish with Forge and everything, and I used Skydaz's mod installers to do so. {Seriously, that crap is like rocket science, I don't know how you guys install all of that.}
I played for a day to a half a day, and then one night it started not working. I can't remember exactly what happened, but currently, it freezes at the 'Downloading Terrain' page, and is 'not responding'. If it does get past that or doesn't become unresponsive, it will take me to the world, but then become unresponsive and/or freeze there. Sometimes it will then come up a while after, saying that I don't have enough memory. I looked this up and found a really good guide how to allocate memory. My laptop is 4 G.B, so I allocated 2 onto Minecraft. Everything worked as he said and showed, but it still froze. But, it works without mods.
I have a Dell laptop with Windows. I understand I don't have an extremely new laptop or a gaming laptop, but it honestly isn't very old, and it functions perfectly. My laptop should be able to take this, despite it not being designed specifically for gaming. I've had several games in the past, including multiple Sims games, and it worked fine. I don't know what to do at this point. I've re installed it twice, allocated memory, restarted my laptop, and removed mods and added them again.
try to use the skydaz minecraft factory reset this only clears your mods folder and your versions folder your resource pacs and saves will still be there. and try to instal the mods again

It did not work. Nothing has changed whatsoever.
