I use Magiclauncher to run Minecraft because its the only way i could figure out how to have Optifine and all of my other mods (Aether II, Twilight Fores, and a couple other lesser mods) work together. I have no issues getting to the title screen, but when i try to load a world, it gets stuck on the "Loading World Downloading Terrain" screen for 10-15 minutes, and then when it finally loads the window stops responding, and i have to let it recover which takes another 2-3 minutes, and then it finally allows me to play after taking another minute to render the world around me.
The only two things i can think of that i did right around the time that this started was:
A) Allocated 1230 MB of memory instead of the default 510 MB, using the advanced settings of Magiclauncher
and
B)Did a lot of exploring in the Twilight Forest, probably a 2000 square block around my portal.

Does anybody know what may be the issue?

P.S. Sorry for writing a novel.

Edit: The loading screens i get when going from dimension to dimension arent taking a ridiculous amount of time.

Increasing RAM shouldn't be the issue, but i would have 2 gigs of ram allocated instead of 1.

Also the MODS might be a problem. there might be multiple mods that you have that add a world loading delay, and they are all contributing to the problem.
mods that add world terrain might cause the delay.

EDIT: Also, i have heard that aether slows down world loading
