Minecraft Forums

I recently burned all of my minecraft information to a dvd as backup. Sure enough, I had a need to copy the disk back to the hd on my mac. I have pixemon and forge showing in my folder, but now neither of them are working. Has anyone had this happen to them too? How do I fix this and keep all of my progress? Do I need to rerun forge or something? Thanks for any help!
