I'm trying to download forge and it keeps freezing about 25% into the download. It is stuck on Downloading Libraries. Unpacking packed file scala-compiler-2.10.2.jar.pack.xz. Anyone know anyway to fix this?

I think auto installer. Is that on minecraft forge downloads.clicking installer rather than universal?

go here and download the newest forge universal for the version you want.

here are the steps to install it
1) have a clean minecraft for whatever version your playing on
2) open your version .jar and delete meta inf
3) now open the minecraft universal .jar and extact those files into your version jar file
4) run minecraft and it should install forgehttp://files.minecraftforge.net/

Is there a detailed tutorial how to do it? I have no idea what I'm doing.

I cant find any videos for the universal install for minecraft but heres a tutorial for the auto install (not my video)

when i try to open my 1.7.2 it says could not find the main class: net.minecraft.client.Main. Program will exit what does this mean and how can i fix it?
