I used to be able to play minecraft with mods until now.
I have installed a couple of mods but now I am only trying to use rei's minimap for 1.6.4
My forge is 1.6.4 and everything should be correct.
The problem is whenever I click play, it disappears then comes back to the launcher.
Please help me..
Rei's Minimap isn't updated for 1.6.4 yet - chances are it won't work. If you gave us the crash report, though, it would help. This answer is just a guess.

You no longer need to edit any files in 1.6, you just need to run the forge installer, and let it take care of everything for you. Then, all the mods go into the mods folder like normal.

Deleting META-INF will break Forge. The only thing you should do is run the installer, and you're good to go. And if the tutorial you watched targeted an older version of Minecraft, it's likely it no longer works.

ok sorry i didnt reply or anthing, it works when i reinstalled forge and didnt delete META INF or anything, thanks
