So this thing has started happening after i installed forge, funny thing is, i was playing it just before and it worked fine, i didn't change a thing, but now when i launch minecraft 1.4.7, with forge 1.4.7, the game crashes (black screen) after the mojang screen :/ Like i said, i hadn't made any changes, i played minecraft fine, closed out for a little while, came back, boom, nothing :c

It works fine with newer versions of forge/minecraft, problem is, i'm on 1.4.7 because i'm recording a series (Creepypasta Mod) and i wanted to play the old discontinued version, since the newer one is rather buggy.

Things i've tried:

• Restarting PC
• Uninstalling/Reinstalling Forge
• Uninsalling/Reinstalling Minecraft
• Deleting MetaInf
• Emptying Mods Folder (just forge is installed)

Btw, my minecraft launches absolutely fine without forge installed.

Also, if it means anything, i'm using Magic Launcher to install it, since forge 1.4.7 doesn't have it's own installer, and i suck with modding.

Any help would be so appreciated This is my first thread submission so apologies for anything i did wrong :/

Properly put it in the mods folder or coremods folder. This may help. Or, follow these steps!
1. open minecraft.jar in your bin folder.
2. Delete META-INF!
3. Drag all your contents from Forge Universal into minecraft.jar
4. Put the Creepypasta mod into the mods folder.
5. Try to open Minecraft!

Well it won't launch even without the creepypasta mod installed, and i can never seem to get forge working without the installer :c

1.4.7 Is not supported anymore. I forgot to say that long ago.
