I have installed Optifine and the shadersmod plus Rudoplays shader pack. I FINALLY got the pack to work after much struggle. Now I come from the 360 version of this game. When you boot this, with or without mods, is it pretty laggy and choppy when you're waiting for your world to fabricate? Does it smooth out after a while and settle in? Im getting about 30 FPS and was wondering how I can get that up also. Can someone help this newb?
minecraft will always be more laggy with more mods installed. entities also makes a lot of lag. i like to play on balanced modpacks like direwolf20 that has just enough mods to keep me entertained, but not overkilling the mods so that there is too much lag. examples of huge modpacks is ftb monster. it is a massive modpack with almost 200 mods.
