Cannot Connect to my modded server

I have i think 43 mods loaded, and ive been trying to get onto my server that had 39 mods on it, but whenever I try to get on it says

Connection Lost

Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException:

java.io.IOException: Packet larger than I expected, found 1 bytes

extra whilst reading packet 63

and I don't know how to fix it, is it because I have too many mods loaded? I would like to know if anyone has an answer.
