I know this is all too common a problem but I am suffering an ungodly amount of lag on my game. For a while since buying my account I have had no problem playing but for over a week now the game has lagged so much that avoiding water that flows toward lav has become unavoidable resulting in 10 deaths by lava in two days alone, forcing me to cheat back all the gear I lost. I also can't change items I have immediately on hand unless I go into my inventory and switch items manually, nor can I place one block without accidentally setting down ten at once, and removing them is a pain if I'm not in creative as every time I break one block it somehow reappears as the lag makes the game think the block wasn't broken. I then end up mining the same block for ten minutes to get rid of it.
Furthermore when on a server nothing appears to lag me to death, which is strange because with other players I would expect way worse.
I am currently playing the fossils and archeology mod which is on 1.5.2 so I dunno if that has anything to do with it but as I said the game worked fine up until a week or two ago before all this lag hit. No amount of tinkering with video settings will make this lag go away.
As of now I refuse to not play in creative mode until this matter is resolved. Also, offer realistic suggestions, I can't afford a new comupter nor extra RAM. I already spent 30 dollars for a Mojang account and I have nothing left to invest for the computer I'm using so give me help.
I do know there are some mods that help sort this problem but the mod configuration I have right now somehow makes things like codechickencore and the mods requiring it incompatible and it results in the game crashing. A huge load of crap seeing as how the mod pack I used as a base (feed the beast) includes code chicken and other related interface mods which go onto improve game performance, and yet they crash my game instead when I try to enable them.
Also I have optifine enabled too, so don't say I need optifine.
Do you use Biomes O Plenty? That's quite a laggy mod. What're your specs?

Check out this EPIC game VoidSpace, a Work-In-Progress, cross-platform universe MMO. I'm more excited for this game than I am for everything else... except CIV: Beyond Earth http://strt.cc?r=ZGFob29wc0BsaXZlLmNvbQ__
I don't use biomes o' plenty, mainly because that mod never wants to be enabled for some messed up reason no matter how many ways I try to enable it. As such I leave it off.I don't think specs are much of a problem since as I said it ran fine for a couple of weeks since buying my account, but I'll list them off anyway.
My computer has a AMD Anthlon processor with 2650e and 1.60 GHz, 2.00 gigabytes of RAM, and I operate on a 32 bit operating system.
As I said it's a pretty weak computer but it ran minecraft pretty well for a while and playing on public servers makes my game run smoother oddly enough. I can't do anything about hardware at all sadly so I can't just buy a new computer or a RAM upgrade.
As far as all the mods I have? I use the following; From DireWolf20's Feed the Beast modpack:
Other mods:Fossils and Archeology, Carboniferous, Rei's Minimap
Core Mods:CoFH Core ver 1.52.5, denLib ver 1.5.2-3.0.14, GuiAPI ver. 0.15.6-1.5.2, and PowerCrystasCore-1.1.6-107
I don't have all the mods enabled from the feed the beast pack in question due to some compatability issues I experianced in setup. I normally have a total of only 28-30 mods enabled.
