^title, when I go to create a world after having some mods installed, what a difference. Every time I make one its always boring plains with some tree's. Never ever snow. Desert sometimes. Like the world will just look like... odd in some places. random blocks in the sky and stuff like that. You can tell something isn't right too, I didnt have this problem before the mods. If anyone has had this problem, feel free too share. And if you have a fix that would help too... Thank you all in advance!
Well, I have a few, I know that some of them change what spawns(as in like more structures) but even after i took them out and redownloaded minecraft, I feel as if nothing has changed. Maybe its just me if so. I have that dungeonpack mod that adds structures. and I can never even find them/get them too spawn, even if i change the spawn rates. For example i just made a new world after removing everything and there was a mountain and kind of next too it, in the sky, behold, random blocks
If removing the mods, and creating a new world didn't fix the problem, then it's minecraft's standard terrain generation algorithm. Minecraft doesn't always have the most logical terrain, and floating blocks aren't exactly a rare find. (especially in an extreme hills biome) If you're looking for a world without floating blocks, and with smoother biome gradients, try a mod called ATG.
I made my own shader pack, by the way.
