One day, I used the MagicLauncher to launch Minecraft. I chose 1.7.2-forge as the Minecraft version. But it didn't work.
So I gave up launching Minecraft by using the MagicLauncher, and tried to launch Minecraft by using original launcher. But when I chose the forge as the Minecraft version, it crashed and threw this exception.

I did these things for solving this problem.
-Reinstall Minecraft forge
-Restore .minecraft folder from the backup
But the problem wasn't solved. It normally works when I choose vanilla versions.
Would you mind telling me how to solve this problem?
OS:Windows 8
Java:1.8.0 Update 20
Although I'm not English, I probably made grammar mistakes. If so, I'm sorry.
Actually minecraft not using java 8 started with update 20. It works perfectly fine with update 11. For some reason update 20 doesn't replace the previous version when it is installed, it instead installs right beside it with a different folder and registry key.

I agree.. Java 8u11 works flawlessly. It's actually a very big performance boost over 7.. but update 20 is being dumb.

The problem happened because of java version.
It worked on java 7.
