it started this morning when we tried to play pixelmon. it froze and would not play. this happened over and over so we took the pixelmon mod out of the minecraft folder. then we tried to play regular minecraft and the game would not go past the start menu. the launcher takes us to the main menu, we select play, and then everything just disappears. any ideas as to why this is happening? we have taken all mods and texture packs out of the game folder and put them in seperate folders on the desktop, but are they still being accessed and ruining the game somehow? this is very frustrating and we don't know what to do. thanks all for any help. btw it is running 1.6.4 on mac with mavericks.
