Hello!
I have started playing the new tekkit main, (not classic or lite), But my game has massive lag. My FPS while playing is as low as 4-5. On normal MC, I have no problems though, and am playing at about 60 FPS. My Video settings is the same on both, and yet it still happens. This happens with all the modpacks on the technic launcher, and it is on multiplayer as well as singleplayer. Right now, it is unplayable.
Any Suggestions? Thank you for your time.

OS X Version 10.6.8
Processor: 3.33 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory: 6GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Oh and also, I used to play Tekkit Classic a while back with the old technic launcher, and it worked just fine, no lag.
hey, i'm another mac owner that has the same problem with the thecnic launcher. I'd like to add that if I use the same mods ( whilst in different packs) on the Feed The Beast launcher, i have little to no problems with lag, so its definately the launcher environment. Not the mods.
Same issue. My mac has ran about 50+ mods in my normal MC launcher and STILL racks up over 30+ fps at standard settings; but when I use the technic launcher, everything drops down to 5-0 fps. Is there a way to play technic exclusive mod packs WITHOUT using the technic launcher? (i.e. Hexxit & Attack Of The B-Team)
Yup I too have a mac... And I think I know the problem. Well when a mac is new with new wifi maker thing it runs very nice, later on, it is horrible lag on big mod packs like tekkit, but I heard its because your wifi maker thing, when it gets old, it gets really laggy, but if you get a new one it is made to run more smooth. I am going to get a new one soon, or just get a new computer! But I will be sure to tell you what is up if I find out!

It didn't work, But thanks for the tip
Also are you playing on a server? If so it could be because of some of the new intensive mods like galacticraft, dimensional doors etc.
