when i go into tekkit it doesn's lag right off the bat but after a while of playing its start to lag so when i press f3 to see how much memory its using it says 90%-99% of 466MB. Now i know that, that is a sad, sad number to be playing even vanilla minecraft on. i have a 64bit java installed and can use 4GB ram. how do i make the 466MB go higher to like one or two gigabites?
Simple you have a gear icon on the lechnic launcher near the X at the top right. you can set RAM allocation in there.
i know this and i have it set to 3GB but that doesn't seem to change any of my modpacks ram. i know it saves the 3GB because when ever i go into the settings it tell me that it is set to 3GB but it won't change how much memory my modpacks have, have any other suggestions?
