Do you want to know how to play fossils and archaeology, mine little brony, even as far as redpower 2] AND more recent mods? Or maybe you just want more forge profiles?
Meaning, do you want 2 or more forge profiles?
Well, here is how you do it.
First bit of knowledge you need. To get to your .minecraft do this: In your start menu search %appdata%, go to roaming, then to your .minecraft. Or press the windows button, plus r, and type in %appdata%. Or Just get there from your texture/resource packs window.
1. Download forge installer. Install forge.(If you already have a modded profile, before you log into that profile, make sure the correct version of forge is on that installer.)
2. Make a new folder in your .minecraft and name it whatever you want.
3. Go into the folder you just made and make a new folder. Name it whatever you want.
4. Now, from the folder you just went into, click the directory bar and copy the url at the top.
Here's what that looks like btw, click where I'm clicking and copy.
(open in another tab. Stupid websites make this smaller than I want it.)
5. Next, open your minecraft launcher and make a new profile, name it what you want, and check the game directory box, delete everything there and paste the directory you got from your folder, and make sure to use forge version
Then, just play your game. If you open the folder you made, you'll notice folders have been made that resemble your .minecraft.
Just download any mods you want in any version that matches your forge version and your good to go TELL ME IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES, OR YOU NEED SOMETHING EXPLAINED FURTHER!!
