I downloaded the Mod, Pixelmon ( you can get the mod at http://pixelmonmod.com/blog/?page_id=16 ). I downloaded both the mod and Forge. I use Magic Launcher ( A Minecraft launcher that makes downloading mods easier ) and Pixelmon and Forge says that they are OK. When I play Minecraft , and I play on one of my worlds ( I have tried to make a new world already ) there are no Pixelmon at all. I am currently using the latest version of Pixelmon and Minecraft. Please help me I'm willing to try anything that anybody tells me.

I figured out that Inwas using the wrong version of Pixelmon, so I was wrong, I was not using the latest version of Pixelmon. Anyway, now I am using Pixelmon 2.3, but there is still a problem. Forge says that it's OK, but when I put in Pixelmon, it says that there are no mods found.
Try extracting the file, it works for lots of mods. This might work, and of course I stumbled across this whilst looking for answers to this very problem so I am going to see if it works right now.

put the pixelmon installation file into ur .minecraft folder then right click on it and click extract here then take the pixelmon installation file out of .minecraft it will work do not use magic launcher to install it. iw will not work that way and optifine can not be used with this mod

The correct one will be labeled 1.6.2 just delete them all and re download if your unsure and only certain mods can be put in your mods folder depends on the mod and only certain mods work with pixelmon
Hey, im having a strange problem with pixelmon mod im not sure if its user error or a bug in the game. with out the propper tool i cant brake certain bocks like cut down trees or remove leaves with out loppers. well if i play the game right and dont spawn those items in for me then i cant live very long because i cant make weapons. also im not finding normal animals anywhere. i see youtubers playing this such as slyfox or immortal. they dont seem to have the problem of not finding normal animals. in addition if i accidently change my few setting and go back from 3rd person to first person again i dont have any hud what so ever and am force to shut down and restart minecraft. another problem im having is im afraid to explore if i spawn next to a pixelmon center because i cant seem to find more then one on any given single player world i generate. i know this is a pretty odd and off the wall list but help with any of these problems would be greatly appriciated. if not its okay i love this mod but untell i see better improvement in some of these bugs and compatiablity with things like a mini map or an easier to use interface for the pokemon themselves i will just not play it as often. Great work so far over all for a mod its been wonderfull while it works.
