I'm honestly not really sure why this happened. I was using world edit building a structure on my server and crashed. I now get this error and crash every time I join. It's a localized crash because other people can join the server and play, but anyone who goes to where I was when I crashed crashes too and too cannot connect without a crash. I know I could probably uninstall thaumcraft and launch the server to fix it but I'd rather not lose everything related to it. Here's a link to a post on the github with the crash report: https://github.com/A...aft/issues/478.
I'm pretty sure I've deduced the issue though. I think it's similar to this error and crash with Project RED: https://github.com/M...Red/issues/257. I've fairly certain I pasted one of the Arcane Pedestals under the bedrock with world edit(Note the: "at thaumcraft.common.blocks.BlockStoneDevice.getLightValue (BlockStoneDevice.java:210)" segment from the crash). As I said, I'm pretty sure this is the problem but beyond removing thaumcraft completely or deleting the world, I have no idea how to go about fixing it.
I've tried using world edit from a distance to remove the blocks but it did nothing. I tried using MCEdit to fix it but not only does it not show anything being below the bedrock but it also doesn't let you select things there either. I've even tried Fenixen's region fixer tool and had it find no erros. Yet if I go near this specific area I crash. I managed to move my character away from that spot with MCEdit so I can at least still play but I'd still like to have this issue solved. If you have any ideas, I'm open to try anything.
No, it's not the chunk. I can walk all through most of the chunk just fine. When I get down to around elevation 40 or so right above where I was when I caused the initial crash I crash again.
And as I said, Fenixin's region-fixer detected nothing corrupt when scanning.

As I've stated, the problem isn't the chunk, it's stuff being rendered beyond the chunk. I've done exactly what you said already and it still has the same problem. Now, if you're not going to offer useful help in a non-douche manner, then get out and I'll just wait on someone who can actually help me rather than whine that I bumped a thread when I need help.
I've tried that. It fixes the problem(I also had to remove another mod which was giving me the same error), the only problem then is literally everything I've done or anyone else on my server has done with those mods is removed. I pretty much only want to go through with that as a last ditch effort.

Is this specific area EXTREMELY important? you could use MCedit to barricade the general area with bedrock? Then at least nobody's crashing. Or maybe, have you tyied blowing it up? ya never know, cud work. Hope all goes well to you! cya

Well, it's kind of where we've built a good portion of our structures for the server. That would certainly fix the problem but sadly not in a way I want.
