So I've been playing around with this mod, and so far I'm loving it, however, I just can't seem to figure out part of the spell creation system. I do not understand how to supply essence to the Crafting Altar for the spell's recipe if it's required, and I cannot seem to find anything about it on google/youtube anywhere. That being said, I was really hoping someone here could explain how to hook up essence to the crafting altar so I can continue enjoying this fantastic mod. Thanks for reading!

Edit: Figured out how to do it, nevermind! n.n

Link a nexus to the alter block with a crystal wrench. When the essence icon appears during spell creation, flick the lever on the alter. When it has drawn enough essence, the lever will automatically return to its default position.

I have the same problem, can anyone please explain it clearly? Thanks!

I've been using my alter to make spells without a nexus to power it. However it may have something to do with being as close to my essense pool as it is. Or not I don't know.

so when i try to download am2 1.0.1 it said it was broken so i did recover with winrar and it works except there is no textures to the items like anny of them is there a beter spot to get it or posibly info to help fix the file in a beter way?

1 this feature is not yet implemented there is also no reason to right now as the abilities are activated by default for now

I also can no longer enchant my spellbook with soulbound I as of 1.1.1c, previously it was completely functional with Eplus and regular enchanting, it doesnt make sense that it would be removed since mithion said that he put it in there on purpose. anyone else having this problem?

I am having a problem where i click the nexus with my crystal wrench and dont get a white line.

i can use my staff and see how much essence is in the nexus, but it wont let me link them with a crystal wrench. i did everything step by step perfectly as shown in tutorial so i have no clue why i cannot link my essence to my crafting alter

I am also having problems enchanting my spellbook, and its in 1.1.2b now...

i have this yellow orb at the bottom right of my screen that i think is lightning essence. is there any way to get rid of the effects/buffs it gives me?

I just recently got ars magica 2 for minecrft 1.6.4 and can't find a server thats got ars magica 2 as the only mod pls let me know if you know a good server to play on thanks
