Hi guys, I'm here posting about a problem I was up for hours last night trying to fix. If someone could help me with this it would be very appreciated!
I beleive the problem I am having is with a certain chunk, the game always places a bunch of dirt/grass blocks in the same spot, even after I've cleared it out, BUT it will only recreate the blocks when I save and quit the game, then relog.
If I place torches, water, or update the blocks in any way, they will dissapear, that is until I again restart the game, then all the blocks will be put back there. I can build ontop of the hill, but when I relog I will be able to see the blocks only for a second, then they will dissapear visually, but it will not let me walk past/through them.
I've tried to MCedit and delete the blocks/whole chunk section, but that doesn't seem to do anything at all...
The mods I am running are(1.4.7):
- Singleplayer Commands
- Optifine HD_UB6
- InvTweaks
- Matmos
My computer is 32 bit Vista, I am on the latest Java version, and GeForce 7300 LE is my graphics card.
Also another thing, in my save folder, I now have a file called "forcedchunks.dat" :S
I belive this is the issue, but I am not certain... I've tried to delete the files and it still does the same thing.

Try recreating the world by selecting the world in the singleplayer menu and clicking "Re-Create". See if the same thing happens in that world. Also, screenshots might be helpful.
Yes, but that shouldn't undo his progress. Does minecraft have permission to save files?
