Hi,
I'm new to loading mods in Minecraft. Have tried to install the Superheroes Unlimited Mod V2.3.3.zip mod.
Installed Forge 1.7.2-10.12.0.1019. However minecraft crashed.
Minecraft opens Ok if the superheroes file is not there (and there is a mods button on the home screen). But crashes when the zip file is copied to the mods directory. Are there incompatibility issues or have I made a "beginner" error?
Can you please suggest any solutions.
Thanks in advance......(crash report below).

Either that, or your not giving your computer enough allocated memory, when you go into launcher go to options and put it on maximum memory, if this does not work put it on minimal memory. Also, try closing browsers or other things to make it smoother.
Your very welcome took me years to figure this out. If it does it again install spoutcraft, it handles a lot easier on my inspiron and gives you a lot more options on what you want to do
Quick followup question:
How do you know what version of forge the mod is for (in my case 1.6.2). I was not able to see that information when I downloaded the Superheroes mod?
(I'll look into spoutcraft as well thanks Cheememe).

it is generally for the recommended version of forge for that version of minecraft
Martejj is correct. But if i was you, i would just download the latest version of Forge for that Minecraft version, as it has the most bugfixes, and has the least chance to crash.
