After i installed Forge and Optifine (Optifine is freakin awesome) I got errors when logging in.
Failed to connect to server: Internal Exception: java.lang.ClassCastException: net.minecraft.client.network.NetHandlerLoginClient cannot be cast to net.minecraft.network.play.INetHandlerPlayClient
This happens the first time but the second time i get in.
What happens is I log into the server but immediately disconnect, before I even get to the game.
My favorite server has some plugin where if you join and disconnect too fast, you have to wait about a minute before logging back in. So i cannot get into my favorite server
On the dynmap it said
"poiihy has joined the server
poiihy has left the server"

Some servers I can get in on the second time, Some I can always get in, and some I cannot get in at all!
It's some glitch with Forge and Optifine because I have those two and am experiencing the same issue. It's only a chance of it happening though and happens around half of the time for me, I don't have this issue on all servers though. For now the only thing you can do is go back to Vanilla or put up with it and try too keep joining.

Sometimes i get this error, sometimes not...
