I want to combine Tekkit and Hexxit but when I do Galactic Craft causes a crash. I put the crash report on a recent post that no one helped me with. It seems as if whenever I post for help on here no one helps. It has 145 views already and no comments. Anyways I was wondering if anyone successfully combined the Tekkit and Hexxit modpacks together. I really want to play with both of them and Galactic Craft is causing a crash. If you have made both of these modpacks work together can you please upload it to the Technic Launcher so I can download it or please tell me how you got both Modpacks to work together. Please help, I always make posts and there are never any responses.

People won't respond because they either don't know the answer or because you've not explained the problem well enough.
Galacticraft is an unfinished mod that quite easily conflicts with other mods, you're also using an old-ish version of minecraft as well as lots of other mods, I've actually had the same problem with trying to get Galacticraft working in packs before so didn't bother with it.
If you want to explore new places or cool dimensions, go use MystCraft or the Twilight Forest, they're alot more stable. Don't get me wrong, Galacticraft is awesome and I wanted it to play around with it at one point but it's just not finished, there's only like two planets in it at the moment?
Well that sucks I would've thought that someone has already combined Hexxit and Tekkit together already but I can't find it any where. I know there is someone out there who successfully done it but I just want to know how to.

Both packs are just a selection of mods, you can combine both these selections manually although Galacticraft just seems to conflict.
Are you able to combine both of them completely but without Galacticraft?
And yea I went back and had a look at the crash report before. You're probably able to find out what mod Galacticraft conflicts with if you remove ALL mods except Galacticraft and then slowly add them back in until you get the crash again.
Yeah when I combine both modpacks without GalacticCraft there are ID's mismatches that I fixed and it works. Now I have a question you probably can't answer because it involves you doing this as well ahaha but can you try to add both mod packs together your self because when I do that the backpacks mod doesn't even work. I searched it on NEI and Creative and couldnt find any backpacks. When you try to craft a backpack it just gives you LivingMetal Armor. LivingMetal Armor is from the Harken Scythe mod so it's not any of the Tekkit mods problem. But when I only play with the Hexxit mods there are backpacks and the LivingMetal crafting recipe is different. Can you test Hexxit alone and then with Tekkit and tell me how it works out for you? I know its a lot of work for you so you'll probably say no ahahahha

You can do it yourself. It is an item id conflict. Unlike block id conflicts item id conflicts don't crash the game. What you want to do it open the forge client files with notepad++: http://notepad-plus-plus.org/ then control f and look for overwrit NOT overwrite overwrit then you'll see the conflicts and keep pressing enter the find them then change them just like you would with block id conflicts in the configs file
