First time poster here. I've spent whole week reading about mods aswell "how to host a linux server" before actually attempting to create a server.. I've spent a lot of time bugtracking all my mods, and then I started a private server for real..
But this time however, I have absolutely NO idea.. This bug occurs on my crafting bench like this:
1. I put in all the materials I need
2. The item shows on the right slot
3. The item WON't get out of there
I have no idea if the mod is conflicting with other mods, but I really want to know what's causing this. Any help would be greatly appreciated
I've had that before if the config files are not the same on the client and the server.
Usually you put the recipe in and it shows on your pc that you can make it, however because the config file on the server isn't the same, it won't let you take it out.
That may not definitely be the problem but it's worth a try. Backup any configs you want to keep and then copy and overwrite the configs from either the server to the client or vice versa.
Thanks man! Pardon me, i'm still a newbie here. But how would I go about doing it? Would I have to copy the config folder from my personal computer, and on to the server-side?
I tried what you said now, but it didn't help.. The funny thing is, that when I play singleplayer, I don't get this bug at all...
So it must be my server somehow..?
Edit text: Can it be, that in singleplayer I'm playing the Tekkit launcher, and that my Server is "vanilla" with my mods added?

Edit: I've tested for hours and hours now. Tried different forge versions with different mods, heck I've even tried without any other mods than the buildcraft mod and it's dependencies aswell.. Still the same issue
Thank you sir! That was the problem.. When I installed Forge server, I used the other .jar that followed because the forge_server.jar did not work.. Again I found out that the forge_server.jar file did not work because of my clientside Rei's Minimap. I had to remove that minimap in order to make the forge_server.jar to work
