I'm looking for a way to have Equivalent Exchange 2, Redpower 2, Buildcraft, and Industrialcraft 2 ALL on the same "patch." I don't even care which patch I just want them all compatible together, so I've boiled it down to minecraft verison 1.2.5. So far so good everything works EXCEPT ONE... Industrialcraft 2. Take it out of the mods folder, bam minecraft runs, put it back in the mods folder and it crashes. Yes I have forge installed for 1.2.5 and I've tried other versions (of 1.2.5) with the same result.
It says right on the industrialcraft website (requires forge and modloader). That's the problem. I can't get modloader 1.2.5 to work with any version of forge for 1.2.5. So how is it even possible that there is a version of industrialcraft for 1.2.5 if forge doesn't need it/doesn't work with it? Does this have something to do with the new minecraft launcher changing game files that modloader depended on?
I mean I can have absolutely no mods in the mod folder... I manually install modloader 1.2.5 into the jar, then I manually install forge 1.2.5 into the jar. CRASH . Or I could do it the other way around and install forge then modloader, still crashes. So what's the deal here? How is modloader not working with forge?
