I generally just hang around a singleplayer world with only one mod: Single Player Commands. As such, it would be prone to crashing occasionally from overuse of a bound command (i.e. x key bound to "cannon 3"). So at one point, the game crashes and brings up a log. Naturally, I ignore it as I have seen it many times at the exact moment I would be overusing that bound command.
However, when I opened the single player worlds page from the main menu, I noticed that my world was not appearing in the list. Confused, I opened the .minecraft directory and located my saves file location. The world was still there. I transfered a copy of the world out onto my desktop and deleted the one in the save file. After replacing it, I tried again without success. I then also tried switching versions to 1.7.4 and tried again without success. Flabbergasted, I opened up the world itself and noted that every item was as it should be.
Minecraft will not recognize this world, and apparently there was another that I had failed to notice that had disappeared from my list. I will post the crash log if anyone can help me, by chance.
Thank you.
