I used NBTExplorer to make one map creative and have cheats enabled, however when i went to play it, everything went to hell. almost none of the textures were there. I deleted that map, and went into a new one. i put a torch in my held inventory and it happened again. since then I've reinstalled 1.7.4 multiple times and reinstalled Java, it still happens whenever i select the torch, or anything that isn't a full block for that matter. Texture packs dont help either. I have 1.3.2 in a different location on my hard drive, when i launch it with mcpatcher, it works fine (it has a 64x64 texture pack though). I have no idea what is happening, ive messed with my renver settings, quality settings, video card settings, etc. Nothing Helps.Apparently i cant post images, so here is a flickr link http://www.flickr.co...ac/11661588194/
There is absolutely no reason NBTExplorer should cause these kinds of problems. It also doesn't care about Minecraft versions. This sounds like a coincidence. At worst, the game either really didn't like being put in creative mode, or you managed to corrupt part of your map on a write conflict (by saving while it's still loaded in a running Minecraft client). That still should not affect anything outside of that one map.

If you got a new PC, install/update drivers from your part(s) manufacture's websites.
