I'm playing on minecraft 1.6.4 with GLSL shaders mod, and with some shaderpacks I have great fps and some I can barely play.
My specs: GTX 780 i7-4770k @4GHz 16 GB of ram running at 1920x1080
My nvidia drivers are up to date, and I believe I have the latest version of java. In vanilla minecraft I can easily get 250-300 Fps. On some shaderpacks, like rudoplays, I get about 80 fps with all my settings as high as they go. However, today I tried Sildur's shaders and I couldn't even get 5 fps. I would think that I'd be able to run it just fine. I know that shaders greatly reduce fps, but I think something isn't right here. Does anybody have any possible solutions?
