hey!

so I've been playing mine craft for awhile but i am looking at installing mods on a fresh mac, but i can't seem to do it. Can someone help me install a mod loader and a mod so i can learn haha

If possible i am happy for someone to RDP to my mac so i can see how to do it and see where i am going wrong.

I figure that logmein would be best i can just send you an invitation. I can't seem to get the mods to work after following all the instructions. Any help?

i have a mac aswell. If its a forge mod, install forge, double click it. A window should come up. click the button thats blue. (dont click anything else) it should say something like it required 0 libraries. Then install the mod that you want. Now open finder-click library-then application support-then click minecraft. when you click the minecraft folder, thats all the folders that have to do with minecraft. like %appdata% on a PC. then if you have forge, you should have a folder labled "mods". Place your mod in that folder. Maybe double click it to make sure there isnt text document in it. (sometimes mod creators put text in the folder with directions on it) If you have the mod in the folder, open MC and press new profile. (it doesnt matter what you name it) Click on where is says "use latest version" and find something that is about "forge version _____" Hope it helps!

I have the same problem as you. It only seemed to happen as of recent. I've been trying to troubleshoot and will let you know if I find a solution.
