So I updated to minecraft 1.7.4. As always, I created a different game directory to keep it separate from my 1.6.4. Minecraft 1.7.4 works great, of course i haven't modded it yet because forge hasn't been released for it yet: however when i decided to log back into 1.6.4, the graphics began to shutter and shake. Sometimes only the trees would do this, then sometimes only water or only the animals; sometimes even the whole screen does it!!
Before I updated, I didn't have this problem; and like I said, I keep my minecraft versions neatly separated just to avoid problems like this.
My 1.6.4 is modded, however i haven't updated any of the mods.
I use the newest Magic Launcher, but the problem persists in the default launcher too, I also tried re-downloading my 1.6.4
My 1.6.4 MODS
-Forge 9.11.1.953
-Backpacks mod
-Camera Studio
-carpenter's blocks
-computercraft
-craftguide
-custom npc's
-dragonmount
-dynamic lights mod
-optifine
-toomanyitems
-"Atomic Striker" update checker mod
My Rig=
Nvidia GeForce 210 Graphics
Intel Pentium Dual Core 2.00 GHz
2.00 GB RAM
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
It started in my 1.7.4 too. Please help, it's ruining my taste for Minecraft
You do know that if you just use the default launcher is better right?
With minecraft now a days you don't have to separate the different versions cause they are different jar files... no longer is minecraft running with one jar file that gets edited. So try with the default launcher and see that works, or even move the files back where they belong and they will be fine.
Besides unmodded minecraft doesn't even look for the mod folder anyways.........
like I said before, I've already tried using the default minecraft launcher. Besides, I keep my minecraft versions separate so the saves don't get mixed up.
Here is a video of the glitch, it isn't near as bad now as it was when i first posted; it went from being constant shutters, to being randomly spaced apart.
