I don't really know why this happened. I did a Disk Defrag, but I doubt some how that would have had an issue. What happens is that it does it's normal loading screen then goes back to the Singleplayer/Multiplayer screen and just starts causing an issue to where I have to restart my computer because it'll lag everything on my computer.
My laptop is an older one. 7 Years to be exact but I got it free from my Cousin.
Dell Inspiron 1501
AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-60 2.00Ghz
ATI Radeon Xpress Series
2GB DDR2 RAM
Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit (Upgraded from Vista Home Premium)
I get about 20-30FPS. With all settings at its lowest.
Anyone? and why was this moved to Modded Client? I'm still using an unmodified Minecraft, just had MCPatcher load it up without it modifying any files. I have no Mods, Texture pack, nothing, as any mod will lag my game. I'm running latest version 13w49a unmodified.
Don't use MCPatcher. Last time I checked, MCPatcher did all the stuff that's been added to Minecraft with 1.7. This was moved to Modded Minecraft Support because MCPatcher mods your client. Also, does MCPatcher even work with snapshots?
As far as I know when I did have a seperate profile it changed a few things when I was using 1.7.2.
I know it's a modded client, but I just used it for it's Log, because I don't know how to see the one screen before the MC client pops up. I'm coming from the xbox, and only know a few things. I do now have a texture pack and it tells me to use MCPatcher or Optifine, the Minecraft logo doesn't pop up when I am using the pack. It's an HD Medieval pack. I was told to use MCPatcher when I did use it at the time to help speed up the game, but it didn't do much. Practically like the Standalone version of MC on my computer. 20-30FPS either way.
But it did this before I used MCPatcher. It was an unmodified standalone Minecraft client. So that's why I don't understand why it's in the modded section now when I can't even use mods in the first place.
