So, I've been playing with no problems for a while now, but now as of a few days ago, when I log in from the launcher screen I get "Can't Connect to Minecraft.net" and I can either play offline, or try again. However I can connect with vanilla minecraft, Tekket, and FTB. I can also log in on the web site. I tired rebooting, re-installing, unplugging the router and modem, and turning off the firewall completely. I've checked to make sure the minecraft.net service servers are up too. My java is up to date and I'm running win 7 64

Please help me out here!

If that were the case than I would hope they gave a warning before, but obviously they didn't.

Same here, it just stopped working around 3-4 days ago. It only seems to be that way on the 1.5.2 launcher because everything is working perfectly when i replace my .minecraft folder and use the new launcher instead of the 1.5.2. That would be disappointing if they are doing a forced conversion over to the new launcher.

Having same problem here. so has anyone found a fix for this?
I've looked online and people say to change the date on pc but that doesn't work for me. any other suggestions?
