Hello. I want to play the Hexxit modpack with other mods. I tried installing every mod doing everything myself instead of using the Technic Launcher because when I add new mods to the modpack Technic Launcher will just update the mod pack. So when I manually installed all of the mods Minecraft crashes and doesn't work. I posted a crash report on a recent post but no one helped. So I found a new way I could do this. I have decided to download the Hexxt Modpack on the Technic Launcher, go to my %appdata%, then take the hexxit folder, put it into my roaming and renaming it .minecraft. so I can run it with Magic Launcher so I can add other mods into it. When I run the hexxit modpack on the Magic Laucher it doesn't even launch. So is it possible for you to run the hexxit modpack on Magic Launcher? Please help, my last post got no responses. In reply to that: You've got an enchantment that's taking up the same id, looks like it's something to do with Better Storage although I didn't even know that added enchants.

To fix it, you'd need to go to the config file and find the id's of enchantments and change them to something else.

If it's not better storage causing it, try removing ALL mods that add enchants and then slowly adding them back in until you get the error again and you should know what mod caused it, you can then config that mod or remove it entirely.

Sorry for not responding to your previous post, I'm on here alot and try to respond to as many people as possible.

In terms of your current problem, some modpacks set their mods/configs up a bit weird, you're better off doing the first method if I'm honest. I used to use FTB alot but got fed up because they take ages to update and I wanted more mods so I just download and set up all my mods manually now.

Hey thanks for helping me out and it is awesome how you are so dedicated to helping people out on these forums. Anyways so in the BetterStorage config folder I did see enchanment ids.

So what numbers should I change it to? If I can't change the numbers could I possibly just remove all of this from the config file so there would be no enchantments this mod will add to the game. And to answer your question about BetterStorage the enchanments that are added are used for your keys and chests so they won't get destroyed or something.Actually that might not be right. If that isn't then I'll post the whole config here, there isn't a lot.
