Forge won't install

I'm trying to install forge on a profile using 1.6.4 but when I click on the installer a new window blinks for a second then disappears, and that's it. No menu or anything. I'm using Windows 8 (unfortunately).

Probably it is incompatible with the version of windows you're using. Just wait for a update because, I don't know, what else is there to do. LOL

You mean Windows 8 isn't compatible with Forge?
